Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) provides unemployment benefits to people who lost their job or self-employment as a direct result of a federally declared disaster in their area. To receive these benefits, you must apply for benefits. You can apply at Unemployment Benefits Services. You will need to provide proof of employment or self-employment within 21 days of applying.
